Vietnam’s ST25 rice received international recognition for its exceptional quality and flavor. Below is a list of the major awards this rice variety has achieved at The Rice Trader annual conferences:

  • Vietnam’s renowned ST25 rice has once again made global headlines by winning the World’s Best Rice Award 2025, held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking the third time the Vietnamese rice has been crowned the world’s finest.

  • Vietnam's Ong Cua ST25 rice has won the second prize at the World’s Best Rice 2024 competition, within the framework of the 16th International World Rice Conference Summit 2024 in Manila, Philippines from November 5-7.

  • This is the second time the ST25 rice variety has taken 1st place. This year's competition saw the participation of more than ten countries with 30 rice samples.

  • Achieved a second place at the World's Best Rice Contest 2020 held in the USA. This recognition was part of the 12th Annual The Rice Trader (TRT) World Rice Conference, which took place from December 1 to 3.

  • In 2019, ST25 rice was crowned the world’s best rice at the 11th World’s Best Rice competition in Manila, Philippines. This prestigious title is awarded annually by The Rice Trader World Rice Conference (TRT), recognising the finest rice varieties from around the world.
